Communicating during sex

How to Say What You Want (Without Ruining the Moment)? Sex is wonderful. Exciting. Intimate. And often... quiet. Many people find it nerve-wracking to talk during sex. Yet, communication is precisely the key to truly great, synchronized sex. But how do you actually do it? How do you tell your partner to go faster, or perhaps slower? How do you indicate that you would prefer to be touched in a different spot, without disrupting the mood? In this blog, we provide practical tips for communicating honestly, clearly, and sexily in bed. 1. Make communication part of the excitement Many people think of "talking about sex" as a serious conversation at the kitchen table. That can certainly be valuable, but during sex itself, it can also remain playful and exciting. A simple whisper like "a little softer there...", or "yes, stay right there..." can provide a lot of direction and heighten the tension. Tip: Start small. A compliment followed by a suggestion often works well, such as: "Mmm, that feels good... maybe a little slower?" 2. Use your body and your voice Communication doesn't always have to be verbal. You can also use your body to indicate what you want. Gently push a hand in a different direction, move your hips to the rhythm that feels good to you, or hold someone still if you want to take a break. Tip: Non-verbal contact can be a very sensual form of attunement. Also pay attention to how your partner reacts to your signals – that’s how you get to know each other even better. 3. Say what you want, not just what you don’t want Negative feedback ("not there!" or "that hurts") may be necessary – and should always be able to be given safely. But if that is the only form of communication, it can feel like rejection. So, try to mention what you *do* want as well. Example: Instead of "not so rough," you can say: "Softer is better for me, then I can feel you more." 4. Use positive reinforcement When your partner does something you like, let them know. Moaning, sighing, moving, or simply saying: "yes, like that" – it helps your partner understand what works and builds confidence. Bonus: People learn faster from positive feedback than from negative feedback. So the more you show what you like, the more often you will get it back. 5. Be honest, but gentle Sometimes you want something to be different, but you are afraid of hurting your partner. Remember: true intimacy is also about vulnerability. If you express something in a loving way, you create space for more pleasure for both of you. Example: "I'm really enjoying this moment, and I think I would enjoy it even more if you went a little lower with your hand." 6. After sex: debrief without pressure A short post-sex chat doesn't have to be heavy. Ask, for example: "What did you enjoy most?" or "Was there anything you would have liked to be different?". This creates space for growth, connection, and even better sex in the future. Communicating = sexy Talking during sex doesn’t have to kill the mood – it can actually deepen it, make it more playful, and lead to more pleasure for both of you. See communication as part of foreplay and part of the enjoyment itself. And don't be afraid to learn. That, too, is sexy. 💬 Have you found a good way to communicate during sex? Wat is chastity play en waarom is het trending? - LieLei

Tips & tricks

What is chastity play and why is it trending?

In 2025, a striking shift is visible in how people experience intimacy. One of the most notable trends is chastity play. This phenomenon revolves around sexual abstinence and control, often performed with special chastity belts or cages that restrict access to the genitals. But why are more and more people choosing this? Control, surrender, and trust Chastity play is not just about abstinence, but above all about the game of power and surrender. The "wearer" wears a toy that is often locked with a key, managed by a partner (the so-called keyholder). This requires a tremendous amount of mutual trust and offers a deep, emotional connection. Locktober and community Every October, 'Locktober' takes place, a month in which people worldwide voluntarily participate in chastity. Online communities share experiences, challenges, and tips. This trend is growing explosively and shows how mainstream this once-niche game is becoming. Want to experiment with giving control to someone else? Do you want to give control to someone else in a different way or take the reins yourself? Read up about Shibari. Shibari is a Japanese bondage technique currently rising in popularity. It's no wonder, as the bondage technique is a combination of art, connection, and sensual tension. Or the abstinence thereof. It just depends on how you approach it. Already convinced? With our Shibari and bondage collection, you can get started right away. And one more thing... With chastity play, shibari, and bondage, safety is essential. Are you going to use products, toys, or ropes? Always choose body-safe materials and a comfortable design. No idea where to find that? You're already in the right place, because everything you choose on Lielei.nl is safe and reliable. Let the fun begin!
Hoe introduceer je seksspeeltjes in bed? - LieLei

Tips & tricks

How do you introduce sex toys in bed?

Sex toys can be great tools for making your sex life more exciting, intimate, and creative. But not everyone feels comfortable with the idea right away. Sometimes your partner might feel insecure: "Am I not enough?", "Am I doing something wrong?", or "Am I being replaced now?" are feelings that are quite normal in such a situation. The way you introduce toys therefore makes a world of difference. Here are a few tips to do so lovingly and respectfully. Tips for introducing sex toys 1. Start outside the bedroom Choose a quiet moment to bring up the subject, for example during a walk or a relaxed evening on the couch. This way, you don't immediately associate the conversation with performance or pressure. You could say something like: "I saw something interesting about toys recently and I thought: that sounds like something fun for us to explore together." This keeps it light and open. So don't suddenly pull a huge dildo out of your nightstand in the middle of sex (unless you know your partner finds that hilarious). Because laughing together in bed = always good. 2. Focus on the 'together' Make it clear right away that it’s not about replacement, but about enhancement. Explain that you see it as a new experience you share together. Say, for example: "I already love what we have, but I'm curious about what else we can discover together." This emphasizes that you are satisfied, but also curious. 3. Build the fantasy together Invite your partner to explore toys with you. Browse through a sexy webshop together, send a cheeky suggestion via WhatsApp, or suggest picking out a toy together. Involve your partner — it then becomes ‘our project’ instead of ‘my wish’. 4. Ask questions and really listen Give your partner space to share their feelings. Ask: "How do you feel about that idea?" and be genuinely interested in the answer, without pushing. Perhaps your partner has concerns that you can come up with solutions for together — for example, trying something small and simple first, or reading information together first. 5. Start small Don't go full throttle immediately with bondage kits and powerful wand vibrators, unless you are both ready for that. Small, subtle toys like a luxury bullet, a clitoral stimulating oil, or a soft massage vibrator are perfect entry-level items that invite exploration without pressure. The goal is to spark curiosity, not to overwhelm. 6. Keep it playful Don't introduce the toy as a serious "test," but as a playful extra. Laughing is allowed, fumbling is too. By keeping it light, you take away a lot of pressure. 7. Check in regularly Ask during the experimentation (or afterward): "How did you like it?" This shows you care about their experience and that everything is open for discussion. Maybe your partner wants to adjust things, or new ideas have come up. 8. Praise the reaction, not the toy When you use a toy, focus on your partner: how beautiful they look when they’re enjoying themselves, how good they sound, how it turns you both on. Don’t just say: "Wow, this vibrator is amazing." Say instead: "You are so incredibly sexy when you enjoy yourself like that." That small difference makes it emotionally safe — and very hot. Using sex toys together The most important thing is that it doesn't become a 'must'. Sexual discoveries are only truly fun when both partners feel safe, desired, and appreciated. Patience, openness, and humor are your greatest allies here. Playing together is winning together. Are you ready? In a world where more and more people are making conscious choices for themselves and the planet, it is time for the bedroom (or wherever you like...) to join this green revolution as well. At LieLei, we believe that pleasure and sustainability go hand in hand. That is why we are proud of our collaboration with The Natural Love Company – a brand that knows how to combine sexy and sustainable like no other. F*ck yourself, not the planet The Natural Love Company is a pioneer in the field of eco-friendly sex toys. Their mission is clear: to make sexual wellness accessible and responsible, without compromising on quality, aesthetics, or pleasure. All products from this brand are designed with care, with an eye for the environment, ethics, and your body. Eco-friendly materials What makes these toys so special is the conscious choice for sustainable materials. Think of: Biodegradable or recycled packaging, so that no unnecessary waste ends up in the environment. High-quality body-safe silicone, free from harmful substances such as phthalates, BPA, and latex. Sustainable production processes, where waste is kept to a minimum and energy consumption is critically monitored. Ocean plastic: we are not usually fans of plastic, but this is the exception. For some toys (such as the mini vibrator Elemi, love egg with remote control, and the air pressure rabbit vibrator), TNLC uses ocean plastic. That is recycled plastic from the ocean. The plastic is only used on the inside of the sex toys, so it does not come into contact with your body. Good for you and for the ocean. Fairly and ethically produced In addition to environmental friendliness, ethics are a key pillar for The Natural Love Company. They produce transparently, fairly, and without exploitation. No mass production in shady factories, but conscious production in collaboration with partners who take human rights and working conditions seriously. Playful, stylish, and responsible What we find extra nice about this brand? Their products are not only responsible but also simply beautiful to look at and wonderful to use. From elegant vibrators to stylish bondage ropes: every toy is designed with attention to detail, ease of use, and aesthetics. Hot nights, cool planet By choosing a toy from The Natural Love Company, you are choosing more than just pleasure. You are supporting a movement toward more conscious consumption, even in your most intimate moments. And that feels extra good, doesn't it? Do sex toys make you desensitized?

Fact or fiction? You can buy them at the drugstore these days: vibrators and other sex toys. With so much accessibility, you would think every woman has one in her nightstand. Yet, that is far from the case. A commonly heard reason? The fear of becoming "desensitized" through the use of sex toys — especially when sharing the bed with a partner again. Because what if you can hardly reach an orgasm without a toy anymore? LieLei looked into it for you: Do you really become desensitized from sex toys? Spoiler alert: no. You do not become desensitized from using sex toys. Where does this myth come from, then? Some women do indeed experience that it is more difficult to reach an orgasm with a partner after they have become accustomed to their toy. They describe it as "taking longer" or even "it just doesn't work anymore without it." But this has nothing to do with "desensitization" — it has to do with habituation, expectations, and a little bit of biology. Why does a sex toy actually work so well? Let's look at the numbers:When women masturbate, about 95% reach an orgasm. If sex with a man is added, that percentage drops to about 65%. This phenomenon is also known as the orgasm gap. That difference can be partially explained: when you are in control yourself, you know exactly what you like — and you don't have to take anyone else into account. Add a powerful air-pulse or vibrating toy to that, and the orgasm can even come within a few minutes. While you might have needed half an hour in the past, you now discover that it can also be done in two minutes. Why? You know exactly what you like yourself. You can keep stimulating that one specific spot. And honestly: a vibrator doesn't get tired, doesn't lose its rhythm, and has no ego... And then suddenly: sex with a partner again Once you have experienced how fast and intense an orgasm can be with a toy, "regular" sex sometimes feels slow or less "effective." Not because you feel less — but because you have become accustomed to getting an orgasm quickly. You know what is possible, so your patience has simply run out a bit. It feels like a step backward, but it is not necessarily one. What can you do? Fortunately, this does not mean you have to choose between toys and partners. On the contrary. Here are some great tips to combine the best of both worlds: Let go of the performance pressure. Sex is not just about "finishing as quickly as possible." Focus on the pleasure, not the stopwatch. Learn to communicate clearly. Tell them what you like. Give directions. And as a partner: listen, observe, and try. Don't be offended if you get directions; after all, you want your partner to enjoy it, right? Use sex toys together. Yes, even in bed with a partner! Toys can actually deepen your sex life. Think of an air-pulse toy during oral sex, a bullet vibrator during penetration, or a duo toy where you enjoy together. Myth: you don't become desensitized from sex toys No, you do not become desensitized from sex toys. But you do become accustomed to the efficiency and direct stimulation they provide. If it then takes a bit more time or coordination with a partner, it suddenly seems much more difficult. The solution? Adjust expectations, communicate, and above all: keep having fun — with or without a toy. Want to know which toys suit you (and your partner) best? In a future blog, we will list our favorites for you. Stay tuned! 💙   Try it together?💙 View our toys for couples – for the best of both worlds.

Which Sexual Archetype Are You? Take the Test!

Sexuality is one of the most intimate and powerful aspects of our lives. Yet, it can sometimes be difficult to understand exactly what truly turns you (and your partner) on. Why does one person need a sensual atmosphere while the other wants to get straight to the point? Why does tension and anticipation feel like a turn-on for some, while for others it feels uncomfortable? The five sexual archetypes The five sexual archetypes come from the work of Jaiya, a sexologist who created this classification to help people better understand their sexual preferences and desires. The five archetypes are: The Sensual Loves touch, atmosphere, scent, music, and aesthetics. This type has a romantic, sensory approach to sexuality and is turned on by a nice ambiance and physical contact. The Energetic Responds to tension, desire, and anticipation. This type is drawn to subtle signals, distance, and the play of desire. Sometimes, direct sexual contact can be too much if there is no build-up. The Sexual Loves direct, classic sex and is quickly aroused by visual or physical stimuli. This archetype views sexuality as something natural and can become impatient if there are too many distractions. The Kinky Loves exploring taboos, power dynamics, and unconventional forms of pleasure. This can be mental (role-play) as well as physical (for example, bondage). The Shapeshifter Has characteristics of all the archetypes above and enjoys variety. This type can adapt to different partners and styles. Why is it useful to know your archetype? It helps you better understand what turns you on and how your sexual energy works. You can improve communication with a partner by understanding where your preferences lie and how you can complement each other. It helps reduce frustrations or misunderstandings in your sex life, as you become more conscious of what you need to get aroused. Want to know more? Plezier begint met liefde voor jezelf. - LieLei

Tips & tricks

Fun starts with self-love.

Self-love is a concept that is often mentioned, but what does it actually mean? Simply put, self-love is valuing, accepting, and loving yourself as you are. It sounds simple, but in practice, it is often a challenge. Nevertheless, it is essential for a healthy and happy life. In this blog, we explain why self-love is healthy and how you can create more self-love. Why is self-love healthy? Self-love is a powerful foundation for both your mental and physical health. When you accept and value yourself, you are better able to set your boundaries, maintain healthy relationships, and reduce stress. Research shows that a positive self-image can lower stress hormones such as cortisol. This means that self-love can strengthen your immune system and overall health. In addition, self-love helps to reduce negative thoughts and perfectionism. It ensures that you are kinder to yourself, even when things do not go as you had hoped. As a result, you feel more emotionally stable and experience more resilience in dealing with setbacks. In short, self-love is not just a luxury, but a necessity for a happy and healthy life. How do you create more self-love? Although self-love may seem natural to some, for others it can be a process that requires time and practice. Here are a few practical tips to develop more self-love: Be kind to yourself: Pay attention to your inner dialogue. Replace critical thoughts with positive and supportive words. Ask yourself: "How would I talk to a good friend in this situation?" and try to apply that to yourself. Take good care of your body: Eat healthy, exercise regularly, and get enough sleep. By taking good care of your body, you show that you find yourself valuable. Discover what you need: Take the time to reflect on your needs and desires. For example, write in a journal or meditate to gain more insight into yourself. Set boundaries: Learn to say no to situations or people that are not good for you. It is not selfish to choose for yourself – it is necessary. Embrace your imperfections: No one is perfect, and that is okay. See your mistakes and shortcomings as opportunities to grow, rather than reasons to criticize yourself. Make time for fun and relaxation: Do things that make you happy, whether that is walking, reading, dancing, or a hobby. Give yourself permission to enjoy. Masturbate regularly: does masturbating help create more self-love? Absolutely. We explain in detail below how that works. Why is masturbation good for your health and self-image? Masturbation is a form of self-care that has many benefits, both physical and mental. It is often seen as a taboo, but it is a completely natural and healthy activity. Here are some reasons why it is good for you: Stress relief During an orgasm, your body releases endorphins, the so-called "happiness hormones." These help to reduce stress and promote a feeling of relaxation. Better self-image Masturbation helps you to get to know your own body better. By discovering what you enjoy, you build a positive relationship with your body. This can contribute to a better self-image and more self-confidence, both in your sexual relationships and beyond. Physical benefits Regular masturbation can contribute to better circulation, helps reduce tension in your muscles, and can even improve your sleep quality. It is important to emphasize that masturbation is nothing to be ashamed of. It is an intimate way to give yourself love and attention, and therefore a valuable part of self-love. Do you still find it a bit daunting or are you not sure how to go about it? A yoni wand ceremony can help you with that. The journey to self-love Self-love is a journey, not a destination. It requires dedication, but the rewards are enormous. By taking better care of yourself, both emotionally and physically, you not only improve your health, but also your relationships and your overall life happiness. And remember: self-love is not selfishness, it is the foundation of everything you give to the world around you. Pleasure starts with self-love.

Close the gap: the orgasm gap

The Orgasm Gap: What Is It, What Are the Figures, and How Can We Tackle It? Sexuality is an important part of human relationships and personal satisfaction. Yet, there are significant inequalities in the bedroom that are often overlooked. One of the most striking is the "orgasm gap." In this blog, we delve deeper into this phenomenon: what is the orgasm gap, what do the figures say, and what can we do to close this disparity? What is the Orgasm Gap? The orgasm gap refers to the difference in the frequency with which men and women (in heterosexual relationships) experience an orgasm during sexual interactions. Simply put: men experience orgasms more often during sex than women. This inequality is not the result of biological differences, but is largely driven by societal and cultural factors, including the way sex is approached and discussed. What Do the Figures Say? Various studies show that the orgasm gap is a real and widespread issue: Heterosexual relationships: According to a study published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior, 95% of heterosexual men report regular orgasms during sex, while only 65% of heterosexual women experience the same. Lesbian relationships: Interestingly, the orgasm gap is much smaller among lesbian women. Studies show that lesbian women experience orgasms in 86% of sexual encounters. Could a better understanding of each other's bodies have something to do with that? Masturbation: The difference in orgasms is much smaller during solo sex. This suggests that women are physically just as capable of reaching orgasm as men, but that the problem often lies in the dynamics of sexual interactions. Why Does the Orgasm Gap Exist? There are several reasons why the orgasm gap exists: Less focus on clitoral stimulation: The clitoris plays a crucial role in female orgasms. Yet, sex education often focuses on penetration, frequently overlooking the clitoris. Cultural myths about sex: Many people still view penetration as the "main event" of sex, even though this is not the most effective way for many women to reach orgasm. Less communication: Sexual desires and needs are not always discussed in relationships. Many women do not feel comfortable expressing their needs, which can lead to a lack of satisfaction. Porn and misrepresentation: Pornography often shows an unrealistic picture of sex, where female orgasms seem to happen quickly and automatically. This can lead to wrong expectations for both partners. Let’s close the gap Fortunately, there are ways to narrow the orgasm gap. It starts with awareness and open communication. Here are some practical steps: Education and Awareness: Sex education should go beyond just biology and reproduction. It is important to learn about mutual pleasure, consent, and the anatomy of the clitoris. Focus on Foreplay and Afterplay: Dedicating more time and attention to foreplay can make a huge difference. Stimulate not only physical touch, but also emotional connection. Open Communication: Discuss what you enjoy and what you don't. By talking openly about needs and desires, you can work together on a satisfying sex life. Realistic Expectations: Understand that not all sex has to be the same. Sometimes it is about intimacy and connection, not just about reaching an orgasm. Use of Aids: Sex toys can be a great addition to the bedroom and can help make orgasms easier to reach. This applies both solo and with a partner. Learn More About the Clitoris: The clitoris is a complex organ that is much more than just the visible part. Discovering what feels good for yourself (or your partner) can help you experience more pleasure. Orgasmes for everyone! The orgasm gap is a challenge we can no longer ignore. Through education, communication, and an open mindset, we can work toward more equality in the bedroom. It is time to break the taboo surrounding this topic and make the pleasure of all involved a priority. After all, sexuality should be satisfying and enjoyable for everyone. What are your thoughts on the orgasm gap? How do you think we can further narrow this difference?

Good intentions for 2025: more sex with yourself or someone else

Have you made a New Year's resolution to work on your health in 2025? Then we have some tips for that #healthylifestyle: more sex and/or more masturbation. Sex and masturbation are more than just pleasurable activities; they also have numerous health benefits. From burning calories to reducing stress, these intimate moments have a positive impact on both body and mind. In this blog, you will read why sex and masturbation are good for your health. 1. Sex and Calories: A Workout in the Bedroom Sex can be seen as a form of physical exercise. During an average 30-minute session, you burn between 85 and 150 calories, depending on the intensity. This is comparable to a light to moderate cardio workout like walking or yoga. Even kissing contributes to calorie burning: one minute of intense kissing can burn approximately 2 to 5 calories. Don't think that's a lot? All the more reason to kiss extra often. 2. Orgasms and Happiness Hormones After an orgasm, you often feel relaxed and happy, and that is not without reason. During sex and masturbation, a cocktail of hormones is released, including endorphins, oxytocin, and dopamine. These substances create a feeling of euphoria, reduce stress, and improve your mood. Research shows that this hormonal boost can even strengthen your immune system. 3. Touch and Oxytocin: The Power of Connection Physical touch, such as cuddling, caressing, and sex, stimulates the production of oxytocin, also known as the "cuddle hormone." This hormone promotes feelings of trust, connection, and relaxation. Moreover, it can lower your blood pressure and contribute to healthy heart function. 4. Comparison to Sports Sex has a lot in common with sports. Besides burning calories, it increases your heart rate, improves your circulation, and stimulates your breathing—all aspects that contribute to cardiovascular health. Sex can improve your flexibility and muscle strength, depending on how active you are. Regular sex has even been shown to potentially increase life expectancy by reducing stress and improving overall health. 5. Masturbation: A Moment for Yourself Masturbation is not only a healthy way to release tension, but it also offers physical benefits. It helps relieve menstrual cramps, improves sleep quality, and can even contribute to better sexual health by making you more aware of your own body. Research shows that people who masturbate regularly have a lower chance of stress-related conditions. 6. Sex Improves Your Immune System An active sex life can increase your resistance. Research shows that people who have sex on average twice a week have higher levels of immunoglobulin A (IgA) in their saliva – an important antibody that protects you against infections. 7. Sex and Pain Relief Suffering from a headache or muscle aches? Sex and orgasms can help. The endorphins released during an orgasm act as natural painkillers. Additionally, the increased blood circulation during sex promotes muscle relaxation and reduces pain. Bonus Fact: Sex Helps You Sleep Better After an orgasm, your body often feels a deep sense of relaxation, which increases the chance of a good night's sleep. This is due to the decrease in cortisol (the stress hormone) and the increase in oxytocin and prolactin, two substances that contribute to relaxation and sleep. #healthylifestyle Sex and masturbation are not only fun, but also good for your physical and mental health. Whether it's about improving your mood, strengthening your immune system, burning calories, or increasing your energy – these activities have numerous benefits. So, make time for intimacy with your partner or with yourself to improve your health. Want to make that "workout" extra fun? You can shop for the best and safest "sports equipment" on LieLei.nl.

Do you know what your sex toys are made of?

More and more people are consciously concerned with their health: enough exercise and being aware of what they ingest, both through food and what they put on their skin or wear. A good development. Many products contain harmful substances such as plastic, PFAS and other chemicals. These substances can pose a major risk to your health - especially if they come into direct contact with the most sensitive parts of your body. Hence the question: do you know what your sex toys are made of? In this blog we explain why it is important to consciously choose safe, high-quality products. The Danger of Plastic and Chemicals Cheap erotic products are often made of plastic or other materials that contain harmful chemicals, such as phthalates. Phthalates are used to make plastic flexible, but these substances are notorious for their hormone disrupting effects. In addition, there are also products that contain PFAS, better known as "forever chemicals". These substances hardly break down, can accumulate in your body and are linked to health problems such as reduced fertility and hormonal imbalance. What Happens When These Substances Come In Contact With Your Skin? The skin of your intimate areas is thinner and more sensitive than other parts of your body. This means that harmful substances are absorbed more quickly. The consequences can range from immediate irritations, such as redness, itching and a burning sensation, to long-term risks such as disruption of your natural pH balance. The latter can lead to discomforts such as infections or inflammation. Here are some effects to consider: 1. Irritations and Allergic Reactions Plastics and plasticizers (such as phthalates): These substances can irritate the skin or cause allergic reactions, such as redness, itching or a burning sensation. Sensitive skin: Intimate areas have thin, absorbent skin that reacts quickly to harmful substances. 2. Disturbed pH balance Chemicals in materials: Some cheap materials contain substances that disrupt your body's natural pH balance. An imbalanced pH can lead to discomforts such as dryness, fungal infections or bacterial infections. 3. Long-term risks from PFAS and Phthalates PFAS: There is still a lot of research going on about the effects of PFAS. They are currently linked to hormone disruption and health problems such as reduced fertility. Phthalates: These are often added to cheap plastic to make it flexible, but are known as hormone disruptors. This can affect your hormonal balance and cause other health problems. Why Cheap Is Often Expensive Many products you find online are produced cheaply without any attention to quality or safety. The use of plastic and chemicals reduces production costs, but puts you as a user at risk. In addition, the origin of these products is often unclear, which means that you have no idea what exactly you are buying. Cheap can therefore ultimately become expensive, especially when you consider the consequences for your health. Your Safety First At LieLei, we do things differently. Green Friday

Together, we are turning Black Friday into a Green Friday! At LieLei, we stand for quality, sustainability, and joy that lasts a lifetime. But that’s not all: we also strive to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. That is why we are participating in Green Friday, the counterpart to Black Friday, a movement that raises awareness about the impact of overconsumption and the benefits of sustainable choices. We have donated trees through Trees for All. With this, we want to make a tangible difference for nature, and we warmly invite you to join us! What is Green Friday? Everyone knows Black Friday, the day when sales and discounts encourage us to buy as much as possible. But there is also another movement, one committed to a more sustainable alternative: Green Friday. This initiative encourages consumers and businesses to look critically at their purchasing behavior and make sustainable choices. Green Friday calls on businesses to speak out against the impact of mass consumption and to offer alternatives. LieLei is joining this movement by not offering Black Friday deals, but instead contributing to our planet by planting trees. Why plant trees? Trees are essential for a healthy planet. They filter the air, store CO₂, and provide a home for countless animals and plants. With Trees for All, we have chosen a concrete, sustainable step this year: planting trees. We know that small steps can have a big impact together, and that is certainly true when we do it with our community! Our donation is a start, but it is also an invitation to you. Would you like to contribute too? You can donate trees yourself via Trees for All or observe Green Friday in your own way. Are you joining us for Green Friday? Do you want to help us make Green Friday bigger? Here are a few ideas to contribute your sustainable bit today: Skip Black Friday deals and buy consciously – if you need something, consider sustainable brands and quality products that last. Plant a tree or donate via Trees for All to support the earth. Share your support for Green Friday on social media and encourage others to join in too. Let’s turn Black Friday on November 29th into Green Friday; a statement for a better future. Together, we can make a difference!
