The meaning and effect of different gemstones
Rose quartz for self-love, obsidian for protection, carnelian for a good dose of zest for life. In crystal healing, every stone has its own meaning. This isn't science, but an age-old tradition of symbolism and intuition. And that is exactly what makes it fun: if you choose a stone because its meaning resonates with you, your yoni egg moment becomes a lot more personal.
Our favorite? Based on our favorite color: green. Based on the effect: rose quartz. Because there is nothing like a healthy dose of self-love.

Rose quartz: the stone of self-love
If there is one stone that almost everyone knows, it is rose quartz. In crystal healing, this is the stone of love: not primarily for someone else, but for yourself. It belongs to the heart chakra and represents gentleness, compassion, and accepting yourself as you are. A beautiful stone for your first yoni egg, or for moments when you could be a little kinder to yourself.

Amethyst: for when you want to look inward
In crystal healing, the deep purple of amethyst belongs to the third eye, the chakra of intuition and inner wisdom. Amethyst represents peace, spiritual deepening, and listening to your gut feeling. Do you like to turn your yoni egg moment into a meditation? Then this is your stone.

White quartz: the master stone
White, or clear, quartz is called the "master stone" in crystal healing. It represents clarity and is said to amplify the energy of other stones. So it doesn't have a pronounced theme, but is a neutral, pure choice. Great if you are looking for peace and focus, or if you don't yet know where your intention lies.

Selenite: the cleanser
Milk-white and silky-shiny: in crystal healing, selenite is known as a cleansing stone. It is said to dissolve blockages, wash away old tension, and create space for clarity. Many people also use selenite to energetically charge other stones. A stone for a fresh start.

Jade: balance and happiness
In many cultures, jade has symbolized happiness and harmony for centuries. In crystal healing, it is a grounding stone that helps you center yourself and land back in your body. Jade stands for balance and gentle strength: the quiet confidence of someone who knows her worth.

Obsidian: the honest mirror
Obsidian is formed from lava, and you can see that character reflected in its meaning. In crystal healing, this deep black stone stands for protection, transformation, and letting go of old patterns. Obsidian is called a mirror that shows you what you would rather not see. So it is not the most cuddly stone, but a powerful one if you are ready to look at yourself honestly.

Carnelian: fire and zest for life
Orange carnelian is the energetic one of the bunch. It belongs to the sacral chakra, which in crystal healing is connected to creativity, pleasure, and sensuality. Carnelian stands for passion and self-confidence, in life and in the bedroom. For when you could use some extra fire.

How to choose?
There is no right or wrong choice. Ask yourself what you need right now: more gentleness for yourself (rose quartz), peace and deepening (amethyst), a fresh start (selenite), balance (jade), letting something go (obsidian), or more fire (carnelian). Don't know? Then white quartz is a neutral choice. Or just choose the stone that catches your eye first, because that, too, is intuition.

Tips & tricks
Using a yoni egg: honest advice
Search for "yoni egg" and you will read that it balances your hormones, trains your bladder, and has been secretly passed down for thousands of years. We love yoni eggs, but we don't go along with that. Those ancient origins have never been proven, and a gemstone is not a medicine.
What a yoni egg can do: help you feel your pelvic floor, consciously take time for yourself, and get to know your body better. Those who believe in the spiritual power of gemstones (like some of our test subjects) also claim that each type of yoni egg has its own positive effect on them.
What is a yoni egg?
A smoothly polished, egg-shaped piece of gemstone that you insert vaginally. "Yoni" is Sanskrit for the female genitalia, and in spiritual circles, it also represents feminine power. Most eggs have a small hole at the narrow end for a string.
Who is it for (and who should avoid it)?
A yoni egg is for you if you:
are curious about your pelvic floor and want to feel where it is;
enjoy rituals and moments to yourself;
want to get to know your body and your sexuality better.
Do not use it during your period, if you have an infection or irritation, during pregnancy, or in the first few months after giving birth.
Do you have pelvic floor issues, such as urinary incontinence, pain, or a feeling of prolapse? Then see a pelvic floor physical therapist first. A yoni egg is not a treatment. If you have an overly tense pelvic floor, it can even be counterproductive.
Which stone should you choose?
For insertion, you want a hard, smooth stone without cracks. At LieLei, you can choose from rose quartz, white quartz, amethyst, carnelian, jade, obsidian, and selenite. The stones have been treated so that they are suitable for internal use. That is important, because some stones, like selenite, would otherwise not be suitable for this. For example, because they are too soft or could (partially) dissolve in water.
Check your egg before every use: if you see or feel a crack or chip, stop using it.
Do you want to know what each stone stands for spiritually? You can read about that here.
With or without a string?
Always start with a string. That way, you can remove the egg without any hassle. Using it without a string is only for when you can really feel how to relax your pelvic floor, because then you can let the egg slide out on its own.
Unsure about the size? With our rose quartz cone set, you start a bit larger, as that is easier to hold, and work your way down to smaller sizes.
How to use a yoni egg
Cleaning. Wash the egg with lukewarm water. Optionally with a mild, unscented soap. But rinse it off well to prevent your pH balance from being disrupted. Do not use hot or boiling water: stones can crack due to the temperature difference.
Relaxing. Take a moment: a few calm breaths, lying down or half-sitting.
Insertion. Wide end first, so that the narrow end (with the string) points downwards. A little water-based lubricant helps. Does it not feel right? Do not force it; try again another time.
Practicing: tightening and releasing. Squeeze gently, as if you are holding in pee, and then release completely. Releasing is just as important as tightening. Start with a few minutes and build up gradually.
Removing. With a string: pull gently. Without a string: in a squatting position, relax the pelvic floor and push lightly.
Cleaning and storing. Wash again, let dry thoroughly, and store separately so that the egg is not damaged.
Don't: wear the egg for hours, sleep with it, or keep it in during sex.
The string
Use unscented, unwaxed string or the string that came with your egg, and replace it often. Bacteria can get trapped in a string and in the drill hole, so rinse the hole well after every use.

Tips & tricks
Pelvic floor training after childbirth
Your body changes enormously during pregnancy and childbirth. One of the muscle groups that endures the most is the pelvic floor. Training your pelvic floor after childbirth helps your body recover, rebuild strength, and reconnect with yourself.
But even if you have not given birth, training your pelvic floor is a valuable investment in your health, posture, and sexual experience. In this blog, you will read why.
What is the pelvic floor?
The pelvic floor is a group of muscles and connective tissue at the base of your pelvis. These muscles support your bladder, uterus, and bowels and play an important role in:
Core stability
Posture and movement
Tension and relaxation in the body
Sexual sensation and body awareness
Because these muscles are located deep in your body, they are often forgotten — even though they are essential to how you feel.
Training the pelvic floor after childbirth: why it is so important
During pregnancy, your pelvic floor muscles support the extra weight of your growing belly. During a vaginal birth, these muscles are also stretched significantly. This does not mean they are "broken," but it does mean they need time and attention to recover.
By consciously training your pelvic floor after childbirth, you:
Help the muscles regain strength and resilience
Support your body’s natural recovery
Increase body awareness and confidence
Work step-by-step toward a strong foundation
Pelvic floor training is therefore an important part of postnatal recovery; just as essential as rest and proper nutrition.
What is a Kegel set / pelvic floor trainer?
A Kegel set or pelvic floor trainer consists of egg-shaped weights that you use vaginally to activate your pelvic floor muscles. By holding the egg in place, you automatically contract the right muscles.
The advantage of this is that:
You train in a very targeted way
You learn to feel where your pelvic floor is
Your muscles develop both strength and control
The rose quartz Kegel set combines this effective training with comfort and attention for the body.
Why choose a rose quartz Kegel set?
🌸 Gentle, natural training
Rose quartz feels smooth and pleasant and is a natural product. This makes it comfortable to use, especially in the period after childbirth when your body can be extra sensitive.
🌸 Training with mindfulness and self-care
Rose quartz is often associated with softness, love, and feminine energy. Many women experience training with a rose quartz Kegel set not just as a physical exercise, but also as a moment of rest and connection with themselves.
🌸 Suitable for every level
Whether you are just starting to train your pelvic floor after childbirth or have been working on body awareness for a while: a Kegel set helps you grow stronger in a gentle, progressive way.

Training the pelvic floor if you have not given birth: why it is also meaningful
Pelvic floor training is not just for women who have been pregnant. Even if you have not given birth, training your pelvic floor can offer many benefits.
Greater body awareness
You learn to better feel how your body works and how you can regulate tension and relaxation.
Core support
The pelvic floor works in tandem with your abdominal and back muscles. By training these muscles, you improve stability and posture.
More sensation and control
Strong pelvic floor muscles play an important role in sexual experience and muscle control.
Preventive self-care
By actively training your pelvic floor, you support your body in the long term as well.
How do you start pelvic floor training?
Take your time and train without rushing
Focus on conscious contraction as well as relaxation
Start with short sessions
Listen to your body and do not force anything
Consistency is more important than intensity. Regular, gentle training yields the best long-term results.
Start training
Training your pelvic floor after childbirth helps your body recover, grow stronger, and come back into balance. But even without pregnancy, pelvic floor training is a valuable form of self-care that contributes to strength, stability, and body awareness.
A rose quartz Kegel set offers a beautiful combination of effective training and gentle attention for your body — tailored to your pace and needs.

Tips & tricks
Self-love is a concept that is often mentioned, but what does it actually mean? Simply put, self-love is valuing, accepting, and loving yourself as you are. It sounds simple, but in practice, it is often a challenge. Nevertheless, it is essential for a healthy and happy life. In this blog, we explain why self-love is healthy and how you can create more self-love.
Why is self-love healthy?
Self-love is a powerful foundation for both your mental and physical health. When you accept and value yourself, you are better able to set your boundaries, maintain healthy relationships, and reduce stress. Research shows that a positive self-image can lower stress hormones such as cortisol. This means that self-love can strengthen your immune system and overall health.
In addition, self-love helps to reduce negative thoughts and perfectionism. It ensures that you are kinder to yourself, even when things do not go as you had hoped. As a result, you feel more emotionally stable and experience more resilience in dealing with setbacks. In short, self-love is not just a luxury, but a necessity for a happy and healthy life.
How do you create more self-love?
Although self-love may seem natural to some, for others it can be a process that requires time and practice. Here are a few practical tips to develop more self-love:
Be kind to yourself: Pay attention to your inner dialogue. Replace critical thoughts with positive and supportive words. Ask yourself: "How would I talk to a good friend in this situation?" and try to apply that to yourself.
Take good care of your body: Eat healthy, exercise regularly, and get enough sleep. By taking good care of your body, you show that you find yourself valuable.
Discover what you need: Take the time to reflect on your needs and desires. For example, write in a journal or meditate to gain more insight into yourself.
Set boundaries: Learn to say no to situations or people that are not good for you. It is not selfish to choose for yourself – it is necessary.
Embrace your imperfections: No one is perfect, and that is okay. See your mistakes and shortcomings as opportunities to grow, rather than reasons to criticize yourself.
Make time for fun and relaxation: Do things that make you happy, whether that is walking, reading, dancing, or a hobby. Give yourself permission to enjoy.
Masturbate regularly: does masturbating help create more self-love? Absolutely. We explain in detail below how that works.
Why is masturbation good for your health and self-image?
Masturbation is a form of self-care that has many benefits, both physical and mental. It is often seen as a taboo, but it is a completely natural and healthy activity. Here are some reasons why it is good for you:
Stress relief
During an orgasm, your body releases endorphins, the so-called "happiness hormones." These help to reduce stress and promote a feeling of relaxation.
Better self-image
Masturbation helps you to get to know your own body better. By discovering what you enjoy, you build a positive relationship with your body. This can contribute to a better self-image and more self-confidence, both in your sexual relationships and beyond.
Physical benefits
Regular masturbation can contribute to better circulation, helps reduce tension in your muscles, and can even improve your sleep quality.
It is important to emphasize that masturbation is nothing to be ashamed of. It is an intimate way to give yourself love and attention, and therefore a valuable part of self-love. Do you still find it a bit daunting or are you not sure how to go about it? A yoni wand ceremony can help you with that.
The journey to self-love
Self-love is a journey, not a destination. It requires dedication, but the rewards are enormous. By taking better care of yourself, both emotionally and physically, you not only improve your health, but also your relationships and your overall life happiness. And remember: self-love is not selfishness, it is the foundation of everything you give to the world around you.
Pleasure starts with self-love.
